On the way home from work, Suzaku decided to do a little shopping for dinner ingredients and tea. He was running low on that considering how often he brewed it for himself and his husband. After going into the store and making a beeline for each item he needed, Suzaku paid for them and left the store. Now it was time for him to head home. Though he wished to enjoy the last hour of sun before it transcends into the evening hours. It felt so wonderful outside today.

There were a lot of stray animals walking around and Suzaku smiled, wishing he could take them all home. However, he knew he couldn’t do that. His husband and sister-in-law lives with him. Plus, he wouldn’t be able to take good care of them often anyway or even give them the love and care they need. Especially since Arthur and Ashton are neglected enough. Why did he have to be so busy? Oh right, he needed the income for his family and himself.

As he walked to his car, he heard someone saying they were lost. Though their voice sounded funny. Like a robot but their voice was a deep, tinier sound. Curious, Suzaku looked around himself then noticed a small animal, a blue dog, not four feet away from him from him. Maybe the person with the robotic voice was part of his imagination…

‘Ah, they’re probably gone somewhere…’ He thought as he watched the blue dog sit on its hind legs. The blue lump of fur seemed to be wandering around aimlessly. Maybe it was hungry? The brunet then approached the blue creature and reached out to pet it.

”Hello there, You must be lost. And probably hungry too. Do you want me to take you home and  give you some food?” he asked it, knowing the fluffy, blue creature won’t talk back to him.

Ren’s ears twitched a little at the sound of an approaching figure and he turned his head only to see someone with brown hair kneel down to touch him. He didn’t sense any ill intent from whoever this human was, so he allowed the stranger to pet him.

His words, however, gave Ren pause.

Hungry…ah. He thinks I am a regular dog.

Ren stared up at him for a moment, weighing his options (or lackthereof). At the moment, he had nowhere to go and being in such a tiny body was very limiting considering the circumstances. Since this person came to him first, it couldn’t hurt to ask for directions.

“I do not require food to survive, but thank you for the offer.” he replied, thanking the man for his generousity. “However, if it is not too much trouble, a map of the area would be very helpful.”
